What if I receive faulty or incorrect goods?

Should you receive goods that are damaged, faulty or incorrect, we will provide you with repair services or a replacement. Please see Returns and Exchange.

Will I be able to order more pieces of the same design?

We usually only make 1 to 3 pieces of each design in various sizes to retain the uniqueness of the piece to our buyer. But we are agreeable to meet customer’s demands should they specially request for the design. But customers should note that all of our products are individually hand knotted, and made of natural materials, as such there may be a slight difference in the final product for each piece. 

And please bear in mind that computer browsers may also present colours slightly differently.

Do you ship overseas?

For our online store, we only deliver within Singapore. However, overseas buyers can make orders via telephone or emails, where payments can be made via bank transfers and we will ship overseas via a courier company/freight forwarder. For more details, please see Delivery Policy.

Does Hassan’s Carpets deliver?

Yes, Hassan’s Carpets provides an in-home delivery service. Please see Delivery Policy.

How do I change, add, or cancel my online order?

Changing, adding, or cancelling order is not possible online once order is confirmed and payment has been processed. Please contact us for assistance.

Does Hassan’s Carpets provide carpet cleaning and repair services?

Yes, we do. Please contact us for enquiries.

 

▪ How to Buy

Orders can be placed via our website. Once you have placed your order successfully, you will receive a confirmation email. We will contact you within 24 hours to schedule delivery. Your purchase is only confirmed when you receive a call from us to schedule delivery. 

If you are placing your order online, you will not be able to modify or cancel once payment has been processed, please contact us directly to make any changes. Please see Payments for more details.

Should you have an issue placing your order, do not receive a confirmation email, or would prefer to place your order via phone or email, we are happy to assist, please contact us.

Hassan’s Carpets reserves the right to accept, limit or refuse an order or delivery to any individual or company for any reason.

Hassan’s Carpets is about individuality. While we will offer as many products as possible online, due to the unique nature of many of our products and the constant movement of stock, not all products available in the Gallery will be available online. If you have seen something in our gallery that you would like purchase, but cannot find it online, please contact us.

If you are interested in purchasing an item that is not currently in stock or is custom-made, please contact us.

It is possible to shop online from all countries; however, we only deliver within mainland Singapore. Please see Delivery Policy for more details.

We try and provide as much information on our website as possible to facilitate the purchasing experience for you, however if you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

All orders includes 7% GST and every effort is made to ensure the complete accuracy of our website, however some prices or details may change from time to time and it is possible that errors may occur.

Please note that the measurements of all products will be as precise as possible, but they are approximate. We will do our best to correct any errors, but we cannot be responsible for any losses incurred. We reserve the right to make changes to our products and product information or discontinue items at any time without notice.

Please bear in mind that computer browsers may present colours slightly differently and colours will appear differently according to your screen. Images displayed on the internet are a representation only and we recommend seeing the product in our Gallery prior to ordering if you are unsure.

Bespoke Handmade Products

Every effort is made to ensure that the products we supply are in pristine condition and your order corresponds as closely as possible to the samples displayed in our Gallery. But due to the handmade and hand-finished nature of many of our products there might be slight variations. Our carpets are created from natural materials, therefore there can be slight variations between batches. The most common variation is that of colour – though the actual variation is often almost negligible or very slight.

We will not accept returns or exchange items based on variations that are a result of the item being handmade or hand-finished.

All the information you share with us is treated in a private and confidential way.  Your information is only used by Hassan’s Carpets in compliance with, and fulfillment of your order, and to meet your demands and provide information about our products.

▪ Payments
Full Payment

Hassan’s Carpets requires full payment in order to complete the delivery of your goods. If full payment has not been received by or on delivery, the delivery will be rescheduled and a redelivery charge of S$50.00 will apply.

Bespoke Orders

Hassan’s Carpets requires 50% deposit payment on any bespoke orders, remaining 50% to be paid upon delivery.

PayPal

Hassan’s Carpets has made the PayPal option available to all our online customers. Through PayPal we can accept all major credit cards, linked bank accounts or your PayPal balance for payment of your order.

Credit Cards

Hassan’s Carpets accepts all major credit cards in store.

Bank Transfer

Hassan’s Carpets can accept payment via Bank Transfer. If you wish to pay by Bank Transfer, please contact us for our Bank details.

Cheque 

Hassan’s Carpets will accept payment by cheque. Please make cheques payable to “Hassan’s Carpets Pte Ltd” and ensure that your cheque is made out for the correct amount as per your order confirmation.  Please also ensure the information and signature on your cheque is clearly readable for bank processing. Should an administration charge be incurred due to one of the above, the charge shall be payable by you.

▪ Delivery Policy
Delivery Schedule and Location

Delivery is by appointment Monday – Saturday.

Hassan’s Carpets only delivers to locations in mainland Singapore through our in-house delivery team. We are happy to accept orders from all over the world, and will be able to arrange for courier/shipping where shipping fees will be advised upon order request.

If full payment has not been received by or on delivery, the delivery will be rescheduled and a re-delivery charge of S$50.00 will apply. We currently provide a free delivery service for all purchases. Or you may choose to do a Self-collection from our Gallery. 

Customers or their appointed representatives are responsible for checking the condition of all goods before accepting delivery. Any issues should be recorded on the Delivery Order. 

In signing the Delivery Order, you are acknowledging that you have received all good(s) and that they are in no way faulty or damaged.

Should there be no one to receive a delivery at the arranged time, our staff will contact you and reschedule. A re-delivery charge of S$50.00 will apply.

Should there be any issues with your goods arising during or after delivery, please see Returns & Exchange.

For your convenience, Hassan’s Carpets offers delivery six days a week with three delivery slots a day.  Hassan’s Carpets delivery team will to the best of their ability meet the agreed timing. However, they may be delayed or your delivery may have to be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances out of our reasonable control.

Should your delivery need to be delayed or rescheduled, we will do our best to give you advance notice.  Hassan’s Carpets is not liable for any direct or indirect financial loss or other damage suffered by you due to delay or rescheduling.

Hassan’s Carpets and its delivery team are not responsible for the removal and/or disposal of used rugs, furniture and other items from the customer’s premises.   

In-Home Delivery

Hassan’s Carpets provides an In-Home Delivery service.
Items are brought into your home, unpacked and assembled by our delivery team. They will remove all packaging. 
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all delivery pathways are clear, that there is adequate access and space to complete the delivery – this includes clearance through hallways, elevators, and the room itself.

If there are any stairways or if the elevator is too small, it is the customer’s responsibility to inform Hassan’s Carpets at time of purchase. 

Providing this service is subject to the discretion of Hassan’s Carpets and its delivery team. We will not deliver goods in any way that might risk the safety of our team or the integrity of the items. 

Should delivery not be possible due to difficulty of access and re-delivery be required, a re-delivery charge of S$50.00 will apply. 

Overseas Ordering

We will only deliver to a shipping agent or courier in mainland Singapore. 
On signing for your goods at the point of collection/delivery you/your courier is confirming that the goods have been delivered by us satisfactorily, are in perfect condition and that the order is complete.

Storage Charges

Storage of goods is subject to space availability.
If storage required is for longer than one month, a storage fee of 5% of the goods value will be charged per week.
